We took down a load-bearing wall to create a more open floor plan, reconfigured the kitchen so we could do an island, and made space for a small mudroom.
My client asked for a pretty white kitchen with a little contrast. We started with a base of neutrals and brought in touches of black with lighting, rugs and hardware. This space is bright, cozy and has a sophisticated farmhouse feel. These clients moved here from Ireland and I was so happy to help create a space that is “them” and one that they are proud to welcome in new friends and family from far away.
